Regulatory filings suggest Alpine is preparing a successor to its popular Halo9 floating-display receiver, expected to launch this fall. Early documentation points to expanded internal DSP routing, including additional output channels for dedicated subwoofer and midrange processing.

If accurate, the added routing flexibility would let installers run more independent crossover points without an external processor — useful for 3-way active setups that currently require a separate DSP unit bolted on alongside the head unit.

We'll confirm full specifications once Alpine makes an official announcement.
