IASCA has confirmed September dates for its annual World Finals, capping a season of regional qualifying events held throughout the summer. The event covers both sound-quality (SQ) and SPL divisions, drawing competitors from multiple countries.

Regional qualifier results so far suggest sound-quality scoring is placing increasing weight on tonal accuracy measurements — judges using reference tracks alongside RTA readouts rather than relying purely on subjective listening panels.

Competitors planning to qualify over the summer should expect judges to ask about documented tuning steps, not just final sound — bringing your own before/after measurement comparison can support your score during the technical inspection portion of judging.
