This Privacy Policy explains how AudioTune Hub ("AudioTune Hub," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit audiotunehub.com (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we automatically collect certain information when you visit the Site, including your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, pages viewed, time spent on pages, referring website, and general location inferred from your IP address. This information is collected through standard server logs and through cookies and similar technologies described in Section 2.

Information you provide directly

If you contact us by email (for example, via our Contact page), we receive whatever information you choose to include, such as your email address and the contents of your message. We use this only to respond to you and to improve the Site.

Files uploaded to the Analyzer Tool

The Analyzer Tool is currently in active development. At this time, it does not transmit, process, or store uploaded measurement files on our servers. Once the tool is fully available, this section will be updated to describe in detail how uploaded files are handled, how long they are retained, and how you can request deletion of them.

2. Cookies & Advertising

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate the Site and, where applicable, to support advertising that helps keep AudioTune Hub free to use.

Google AdSense

This Site may display advertisements served by Google AdSense and other third-party advertising networks. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this Site and/or other sites on the internet.

You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Alternatively, you can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info/choices.

Other third-party services

The Site loads web fonts from Google Fonts. Loading these fonts may cause your browser to send a request, including your IP address, to Google's servers; this is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. If we add analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) in the future, this section will be updated accordingly.

Managing cookies

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking cookies may affect how some parts of the Site function, but the Site will remain accessible.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Site and its content;
  • Understand which guides, glossary entries, and news articles are most useful to visitors;
  • Respond to questions, feedback, and corrections submitted through the Contact page;
  • Support advertising that funds the Site's operation, as described in Section 2;
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, abuse, or security concerns.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties. We may share information with:

  • Service providers who help operate the Site (for example, hosting and content delivery providers), bound to use information only for that purpose;
  • Advertising partners, including Google, in connection with ads served on the Site, as described in Section 2;
  • Legal & safety recipients, where required to comply with applicable law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of AudioTune Hub, our users, or the public.

5. Your Choices & Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to know what information we hold about you, request its deletion, or opt out of certain uses.

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you the right to know, delete, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. As noted above, we do not sell personal information. To exercise any privacy right, contact us at hello@audiotunehub.com.

You can also control cookie-based advertising directly through Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info, and most browsers allow you to send a "Do Not Track" signal, though the Site does not currently respond differently to that signal.

6. Children's Privacy

AudioTune Hub is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at hello@audiotunehub.com and we will delete it.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. International Visitors

AudioTune Hub is operated from, and primarily intended for visitors in, the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your home country.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, particularly as the Analyzer Tool and advertising on the Site evolve. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

10. Contact Us

Questions about this Privacy Policy or a request related to your personal information can be sent to hello@audiotunehub.com, or via the Contact page.
